@thomasfuchs Astrophotography tools are built around the idea that the data you've captured is assumed to be two-dimensional. For most situations this is a valid assumption, but in the case of comets and other planetary images that assumption falls apart. We're actually taking a 2D images of a 4D system; objects moving in 3D over time. I feel like there could be a post-processing tool (that AFAIK doesn't exist) to take advantage of that. I wish I had the time and knowledge to make it.
