Is it though?

Maybe it was distrust of the new owner? Or the fact that the whole thing could even be owned by one person. Or his cavalier attitude to long serving staff? Or the unpleasant results of his changes to mod policy. Or losing access to their preferred third-party apps.

I think you'll find there are as many reasons for leaving the Other Place as there are people who did.
