@phiofx It's a question of media literacy. Far too many people have been lured into thinking that "the Internet" is one particular service while it is an open network with open standards and protection and privacy are added features.

There have been people believing that Facebook were "the Internet". I've also encountered electricians calling an Ethernet cable "Internet" and it's not a language issue.
