This is not true.
The point of RYF certification is that for those specific products the entire user experience from the website, payment method, ordering, getting support and using the product aligns with the ideals of the FSF. It's a full package deal.
That's why the FSF also maintains h-node.org. A repository with information on a lot more hardware and their freedom status than the RYF certification program will ever provide.
