One thing that I don't understand is why do some servers want to block meta. For me it's like if Firefox blocked some websites because Mozilla didn't like the rules.

From what I understand, the fediverse was meant to be open for anyone to create a server.

In the end, it's just more people that you can speak to from any platform. And some people will even change to another server if they see one that allows something that threads doesn't.
