Floaty Birb@Rasp There was a Forgotten Realms novel with a mercenary woman who was magically created by a secret evil alliance to serve as an unwitting assassin. She looked and acted like an adult (having fake memories) despite being a newly created individual, but if I recall right there was a weird quirk where her sense of taste and preferences for food were like that of a child.
