If we figure out a suitable replica of muscles, an electicaly reactive muscle substitute for example. the flexibility of design will be able to finally replace humans for labor in that regard. I doubt pneumatics, hydraulics or stepper motors will be able to accurately dominate human labor for the time being. then we start going into the weeds of machine vision. proprioception etc.
