NeonSnake@CedarTea You can literally just give them an extra beer or something - like, if someone's done a unpleasant job and you give them something that's maybe "above" what is standard, that's still payment.
Doesn't have to be dollars or pounds, just a recognition that they've gone over and above in that particular time frame, and should be acknowledged.
