For reference, the "you're making an idol of scripture!" Line is something I usually see in those kinds of conversations where some guy says some wack shit like "having sex with your wife is eeeeeeevil and you're going to go to hell!" And then some other guy pops in and goes, "you got a verse for that?"

If it were just directed at the kjv only guys I wouldn't have nearly as much of a problem with it, though I would still object on the grounds that they're making an idol out of the KJV and not scripture itself.
