Charlie Stross@threenotch23 The Scottish government handled COVID19 messaging significantly better than Boris Johnson & Co., and despite being part of the same overall system there were fewer per-capita deaths in Scotland. Also, the current UK Tory government is heavily into crony corruption—they wasted over £30Bn on dysfunctional/unused PPE alone—while the worst they've got on the SNP is some infrastructure procurement incompetence and about a quarter of a million pounds in accounting errors.
