Boosty Collins@technomancy @a CVT is a huge improvement over the 80s-90s slushbox automatics I learned on, but I still prefer the no-surprise does-exactly-what-I-tell-it experience of a manual.
I'll give it up for a reasonable EV, but none have yet appeared on the market and I'm increasingly pessimistic that they ever will.
