Part of the top run of the ladder is visible through the ice. The ladder is supposed to be hazard-cone orange, but the paint has peeled exposing raw steel and some other colors. The shoreline snakes up toward the right side of the image, separating lake on the left from ice on the right. As the shoreline extends into the distance it gets lost in the fog and eventually fades to gray. Nothing is visible in the sky. It is a foggy gray nothingness.
https://static.toot.community/media_attachments/files/111/819/937/651/828/291/original/129badd4de8bdbc1.jpeg

Same as previous image, but gazing out over more of the lake. Here you can see the ripples of the lake's surface, but they get more and more indistinguishable from fog and sky as they reach the horizon.
https://static.toot.community/media_attachments/files/111/819/937/739/201/876/original/1c5c7e3d994b7d78.jpeg

Very similar to shot #1. But there's less ice on the shore here, and instead there is water on the surface, reflecting the handles of the ladder almost perfectly.
https://static.toot.community/media_attachments/files/111/819/937/886/769/448/original/04f43d6133d1ee37.jpeg

Same as shot #3, but wider. Here we see an ice crust about the size of a skateboard, with the orange "u" shapes emerging out from its top. Below we see the same image reflected in perfect mirror image, in the melted ice water on the shore.
https://static.toot.community/media_attachments/files/111/819/937/995/156/987/original/0c0dff96691f0bd7.jpeg
