Yeah most Americans now are fat and porn-addicted, but after the blatant and non-stop "fuck yous" to the entire working class for the past several years, I feel like some kind of forced military intervention against civilians would finally be met in kind. Most citizens in 1957 Little Rock were most likely still loyal to the country following our supposed triumphant victory in WWII, despite the gov fucking them over with desegregation. Same for the 101st Airborne that were called in to terrorize them. I guess both parties felt the need to comply with orders to maintain their relatively decent standards of living, maybe they figured a handful of niggers in their schools wouldn't snowball into civilizational collapse as long as they were the minority.
