@hj @000a @a1ba I have to deal with images in my code at work and the main problem with webp is that the tooling is poor. you can't assume a gif is animated or transparent, you just have to load it. its easier to determine if a gif is transparent , tons of png have an alpha layer and then don't use it. the way I deal with that is I check all four corners of the image to see if any are actually-transparent
