@nosat @furgar @Iamthebammbamm @mrman There are specific flights that occur based on a globe model that would not be possible on any flat plane model I've seen, as the countries on the edges of the plane would be drastically farther apart from one another, same with shipping routes. The distances across a sphere do not correlate 1:1 if you flatten in out onto a flat plane.
