@nosat@furgar@Iamthebammbamm@mrman The physical routes from A to B to C are based off distances that translate to a globe. We would take drastically different routes if we had a flat plane as the distances to certain locations would be significantly different.
@nosat@furgar@Iamthebammbamm@mrman What science says a globe is impossible? We have entire industries that operate on the concept on a globe, don't see any of them following your proclaimed science.
@nosat@furgar@Iamthebammbamm@mrman There are specific flights that occur based on a globe model that would not be possible on any flat plane model I've seen, as the countries on the edges of the plane would be drastically farther apart from one another, same with shipping routes. The distances across a sphere do not correlate 1:1 if you flatten in out onto a flat plane.
@dassauerkraut@furgar@Iamthebammbamm@mrman this is very vague speculative information, the issue is you do not know how fast the flights are traveling as there are varied wind currents which flights can move at 1000 mph, so again it proves nothing and is not scientific
science tells us the globe is impossible so I will go with than than your speculation and desire to uphold long held beliefs
@dassauerkraut@furgar@Iamthebammbamm@mrman if the earth were spinning, which it's not because that is a very stupid and impossible concept, flights would take 1/2 the time in one direction vs the other, but they do not, sometimes they are even longer when going against the imaginary spin
@Iamthebammbamm@nosat@furgar@mrman Bouyance ain't gonna explain traveling from places that are on the edges of a flat plane happening faster than traveling from places nearer to its center.
