Came back in on a Chinook through a snow storm with lightning.
We got struck and had large sparks passing our window, two of sitting together jumped pretty high. We hadn’t too long to go before landing at Aberdeen, in the dark.
As we left chopper we looked up at front rotor and there was a large chunk out of one blades😳
