@amerika @faab64 @Moon @Penelope Hamas is popular in Gaza because Israel destroyed the PLO, right? It’s not like you can expect the Palestinian people to form a functioning government without someone promising to provide security.

However over half of the people living in Palestine were not even alive when Hamas took over, so this is just a dead end argument either way. They were born into a situation without any power to change it.
