I have visited #China many times and literally saw its burst of growth over the years. First visit was in the early 2000s, #Beijing, and it was still not very modern, and I also visited a village deep in the countryside. Second was around 2006 or so, and it was getting glamorous in Beijing. And then again in 2010 or so and it was so modern I was astounded.
