wolfkin@thanius I didn't even bother to post the retweet that led me to this. That person was pointing out that each render requires a huge amount of CPU power and an extremely powerful, expensive GPU and so to have it go again and again and again and again really shows how wasteful it is to try to replace actual art with AI. They're just burning through electricity like it grows on trees and we'll never run out of trees, right?
