LWN.net@lmayfair Thanks for the nice words. In truth, the subscriber links turn out to be one of our best marketing tools (not that we really have any of those :). They definitely get our work in front of people who wouldn't otherwise see it, and some of them become subscribers. We have never regretted adding the feature.
