Crystal_Fish_Caves@shansterable Avenue of the Giants (northern CA) should be on everyone's bucket list. I went to school at Humboldt State and there is just nothing like standing among giant redwoods! Course I was seriously high most of the time but I digress..... Some trees that were hit by lightening have carve outs so huge the native americans used them to house livestock and yes you can drive your car through a couple of them as well! A cross section was shipped to England in the 1800's to show how big the trees are; no one believed the slabs were not a hoax.
