Making the store smaller makes it easy to just walk through it and grab what you need. I go grocery shopping two or three times a week and I buy small amounts of stuff so it is always fresh.

If I buy large amounts of groceries for long periods of time I often have stuff spoil and such. It's just a lot more flexible overall.
