@tchambers @arossp @funkwhale @Castopod That is actually kind of an argument against them, because podcasts are very much a media broadcast type of environment, not one inviting comment, necessarily.

Federation makes sense in a lot of discussion kind of systems, but a broadcast sort of mechanism that does not accept or desire comments doesn't really make sense in this environment. And I don't know a lot of podcast readers/listeners that have a built-in comment/feedback system for the podcast.
