I work with the conservative, wealthy-enough white guys with nice families and the overarching ideal for them is that things just go back to the way they were in the "colorblind" 90's. They just cannot get themselves over that hump, they're too stuck, too afraid to just pull up their hand to look at the cards they were dealt.

They'll have moments where they loose up the tongue and say "yeah I'm real sick of blacks, I'm tired of them" but within hours they'll backpedal and say "well there are lots of solid black people out there too" before they regale you with stories about the BASED NIGGERS that the algorithm fills their feed with. Unfortunately, they can't understand that the blacks aren't making any more Jesse Lees or Tommy Sotomayor, all they can produce is resentful, leftists niggers that perform a thin veneer of libertarianism
