@MCMLXVIIOTG @Awoo Assuming you can reliably source solid plastic cylinders. If your goal is to produce microplastics at a factory scale, a shredder and plastic bottles will be a better choice regardless.
You can remove a nut with a chisel and a hammer, too, but you wouldn't call it "the right tool" either.
