@nugger @poastoak That's the thing: you are trapped in a box and you have to get out of that box and build your own box if you want to "succeed" in this sense of ours, but we've only ever known the box that was here before us. I think it's clear that we need to build something new but we haven't the slightest idea how to go about even getting out of that first box so we can find space to build our own.
This, I think, is a big dividing line in "dissident" "discourse": Those that say there are still ladders and ways to move up and those that say we're better off burning everything down and starting over.
