@Polychrome I'm dubious of their chances to sourcing a maintained machine and associated hardware in the Vancouver area, short of buying one and having it thoroughly serviced.

This is not a simple piece of equipment. It had a ton of individual logic boards to do what it does as well as all the tape head maintenance and all the typical perishable rubber rollers and belts and other stuff that typically need replacing on a machine of this age.
