Hiking will be a super good exercise for you if so, because legs are the biggest calorie burners. If you want to cut weight at all, monitor your macros and drink extra water and try to hike a few miles for time multiple times a week, including adding a backpack with weights or something heavy. Trekking poles actually make you burn more calories because you engage other muscles at the same time. Look at interval training too if you want more endurance.
