Why? Because I think we risk our emotional safety (&amp; <a href="https://me.dm/tags/privacy" rel="tag">#privacy</a> ) on ANY social network - especially those run by a <a href="https://me.dm/tags/corporation" rel="tag">#corporation</a> or <a href="https://me.dm/tags/monopoly" rel="tag">#monopoly</a>. </p><p>I’ve been on the <a href="https://me.dm/tags/Fediverse" rel="tag">#Fediverse</a> for about a year or so now and have found it a welcome surprise. #Threads is owned by #meta who have always been worse than #twitter at #contentmoderation
Why anyone remains on #threads or #x at this point is odd to me. Why? Because I think we risk our emotional safety (& #privacy ) on ANY social network - especially those run by a #corporation or #monopoly.
