@ryanhoulihan The first Christians in the U.S., the Puritans, outlawed Christmas until the Civil War. The Puritans read every word in their Bibles, knew that Christmas was a co-option of the Pagan Winter Solstice celebration, and knew that Jesus was most likely born in the Spring (like lambs). Today's "Christians" don't read every word of the Bible, don't know Christian history, and don't follow the 10 Commandments or the teachings of Jesus. Christians made Christmas illegal in the U.S.
