Rich Felker@tchambers @pluralistic The end game we should be aiming for is one where your identity is independent of your instance, your posts are content addressed, and the role of your instance is as a party willing to provide always online hosting for them, vouch that your identity is not one they've banned for abuse, and act as a "privacy union" to fetch and cache others' posts for viewing at your leisure so others can't track you through your interaction with their posts.
