Agree. The life of a musician has always been fairly high stakes of course - my main focus in life and politics is that, while I *do* think that choosing the life of an artist is one that requires sacrifices, it should *not* require you to sacrifice basic dignity and security (house, food, etc).

The only solution is that society must provide those basics to all with no constraints. Those who want to fly jets must earn it, but poets should be free to just write poetry.
