I'm also a big fan of "let the user decide where to read the content", but with the advent of AI/LLMs and their integration into search engines, I'm a little afraid of copycatting and the lack of citations.

I think with all the valid points in your post, it's important to always be clear that the post is yours, even if it was read aloud by Alexa or Siri.
