I'd also say that any attack on the Old Testament necessarily attacks modern Judaism, since all of their support comes from getting Christians to sympathize with them over their shared origins. Anything calling Yahweh crazy/evil would fall twice as hard on them, since they don't have the lamb of god telling them to love their neighbor, only to exterminate like Joshua or Esther did. In practice it never works that way, because atheists are usually shitlib cowards, but in theory it removes their moral high ground completely.
