@Viking @DaddyO @Dustin I thought they needed to refine the law a little, have the three strikes be for violent crimes or felonious amounts of drugs, and not count minor crimes like shoplifting or having an eighth of weed as a strike. Send a guy to jail for life on his final strike for stealing a bag of diapers from the Wal-Mart and it just looks bad.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be punished for stealing the bag of diapers or getting caught with the bag of weed, just that it shouldn't have counted as a strike. Good idea on paper, but barbaric in practice.
