So we’ve finally made it to the “but meta” stage of the argument. It’s not actually about data collection, privacy, or seeing unsavory things in the timeline (because, again, you’re capable of blocking entire domains). Just “I don’t like meta”. Which is fine.

I just don’t feel like I need a paternalistic admin to protect me from the scary internet. If you do, that’s also fine.

And I plan on moving, unfortunately.
