Color spaces only make sense if you have end-to-end control over the process; one misconversion anywhere in the chain, color space metadata dropped at even one step, and heaven only knows what comes out at the end. And browsers? Browsers are a chaotic, ever-moving target.

There may be an asterisk for P3; wouldn’t be surprised to it become the new “just use it” standard in a few years. But in the meantime….
