And the same with the communication skills but in reverse when it comes to a lot of Fediverse and/or FOSS and/or Linux folks; I still smile when I remember, years back, lamenting the beauty and efficiency of Linux while it remained used by less than 3% of computer users and a developer retorted that they're not in marketing and way too busy making cool shit to waste time on communicating the advantages haha...bless their hearts!
