GettingCooked@Sophistifunk That's a lot. Here in Commie British Columbia the government imposes rent control, limiting how much a landlord can increase rent on existing tenants each year. After a pause of a year, over Covid, we were told we could increase rent by 3% this past year. Luckily our old tenants moved out and we were able to charge 200% more, in line with the current market and after we spent over $25K on renovatioins in that suite this summer. In short, you're getting the shaft, Sir Funk.
