ScepticalScot1@carolw sounds rather like conspiracy theory to me without a factual evidence. No Arab leadership attacked the US. There is no such thing as a united Arab leadership. Countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon..all have very different foreign policies & relationship with US. The most that can be said is some terrorist groups ( not Arab States)attacked some US targets arguably in retaliation for US foreign policy ( e.g Iraq War).
