@Meachamus_Prime @Dan_Ramos I didn't mind Jodi herself. Or the idea of a female doctor. Except for the meta narrative around "we have to have a female doctor, because it's time". Fuck that.

What ruined it for me was the companions. They made it not fun. And then there was the special that retconned the whole backstory of the doctor and turned the first doctor into a fat black woman. Even though that cannon was already well established. That was truly insulting. Fuck them.
