Dear Dr. Freemo: Every person should have scruples, possessing a conscience allows a human being to develop a proper 'sense of propriety' if so inclined. Example: I would not ask a woman who appeared to be overweight if she was pregnant. I have a collection of scruples that I carry with me everywhere I go in life.
