But CHI has been far ahead of most in-person meetings in my fields, for its hybrid formats. "In 2022, the conference had about 2000 in-person attendees and 2000 remote attendees [with] $500k in expenses related to AV need." I have learned a lot on Beam 'robots' and other options from CHI blogs, to see how to cut our meeting GGEs (not using Beams btw).
