The mindset I see so frequently on social media of “if Trump is elected it is ____ groups fault for not voting.” I reject this. That is in effect the wealthiest (as you said, disregarded due to lack of money to donate) saying “Fall in line. you and your vote belong to us. Your priorities and your lives don’t matter as much as mine.” It is a devastatingly privileged take.
