@robpike @jwz this story, and similar ones I’ve read tonight, make me sad. To be clear, I do not blame you, but it does distress me that many tech people adjacent to my general social orbit have met mass murderers and *none* of us have had the courage to even throw a bit of cake. Individually this would have been reckless, even foolish, but I wish we lived in a world where, collectively, a Kissinger would have nary a moment in public without some kind of baked good being smashed into his face
