@smallcircles @helge Thanks, and yeah it's obvious I wrote this before I knew much about the possibilities of decentralised networks, and protocols over platforms.

If I were to approach it again today I'd definitely be thinking at the protocol level, building something that enables people to use clients to view the network in whatever way people desire.

Thankfully AP already exists so I don't have to - we can just build on AP!
