There's definitely some hypocrisy in the standards leftists expect of people who escape right wing grooming.

Most discourse calls for honesty in acknowledging harmful biases, not to validate them but to be honest that we don't escape our cultural conditioning.

But then when someone does that it's used against them as proof that they are irredeemable despite acknowledging it as a bad thing worth deconstructing.

I think that's pathetic and immature and I have no respect for people who expect dishonesty and pretending that you've always been 100% perfect with correct worldviews. We don't live in a society that cultivates perfect worldviews, we live in a shitty broken violent and prejudiced society that cultivates harm and the first step to unlearning that is to be honest about it.
