Log 🪵@futurebird I propose one, and only one, more civil time change, to mean Julian day, expressed to five decimal places, synchronized to TAI. If all of China can be on Beijing time, the whole world can as easily be on 0°E/W time.
No more adding or subtracting from server logs to see when something happened in local time. No more zone files. No more being on the wrong time because the local politicians want to be on the same time as the capital.
