    The issue is that parts of Germany are discussing the introduction of advance data storage, state Trojans, big data with Palantir (software) and the use of biometric data.

    It is about the ethical point that such laws have already been repealed by the EuGH / ECJ (European Court of Justice) but are being reintroduced (or at least attempted to be reintroduced) by right-wing politicians.
